Margareta, My Girl

When I open my eyes
Early in the morning
I look at Margareta
She's ready with my coffee
I just can't take my eyes off her
As she starts to unclothe
And I feel the hot coffee on my lap
As she shuts the bathroom door

Oh, oh Margareta
Margareta, my girl
I love her more than anything
Anybody in the world
Oh, oh Margareta
She is more beautiful than any pearl
She's my Margareta
Margareta, my girl

There are days when we go
Take a promenade
You should see the number of heads that turn
And exclaim, "Oh my God!"
But we move downtown carelessly
As if nothing that we heard
The people with their hanging tongues look on
As we both whistle with the birds

Oh, oh Margareta
Margareta, my girl
I love her more than anything
Anybody in the world
Oh, oh Margareta
She is more beautiful than any pearl
She's my Margareta
Margareta, my girl

With half of the world jealous of me
Since Margareta is my wife
Talk of making love
She's the best I've ever seen in my life
Hey Margareta
I just can't live without her
I'll be so lost and empty
Without Margareta, my girl

Oh, oh Margareta
Margareta, my girl
I love her more than anything
Anybody in the world
Oh, oh Margareta
She is more beautiful than any pearl
She's my Margareta
Margareta, my girl
